Announcement

David Butterworth is made partner at Kirkor Architects & Planners

February 3, 2011, TORONTO: We are pleased to announce the further strengthening of Kirkor's team with the promotion of David Butterworth to partner. As a key member of staff dedicated to Kirkor's conceptual vision, David has made a significant contribution to our senior design team for the last four years. A graduate of the Oxford School of Architecture in the U.K. where he is a registered architect, David worked in Toronto with Young + Wright and Alsop Architects prior to joining Kirkor. "I look forward to forging ahead," says David. "It's important to always try to be more creative, better and more successful for our clients so that we can remain leaders in the discussion about urban and citybuilding issues." David's ability to translate his extensive design experience into clear, innovative and well-executed sketches early on in the process is instrumental in terms of opening up dialogue with clients. He thrives in community consultations, urban review panels and meetings, and design charettes to produce a singular respectful design.
