| The Huntington residence is surrounded by an exquisite setting overlooking Sherwood Park Ravine, nestled in a natural ravine that allows for the building to be carefully sculptured into the hillside. The residence is a step towards a classical tradition that embodies the rigor of early Georgian Architecture with strong horizontal and vertical elements within the façade that creates a warmth and individual character. A sense of place was desired for the development, and a range of formal and semiformal gardens were introduced to develop long winding paths between the elegance and contrast of the gardens that evoke memories of classical estates. |
